DDE Pharmacy opened its doors in Rowland Heights in 2000. Twenty-five years later, we're still independently owned, still on the same corner of Colima Road, and still doing what a neighborhood pharmacy is supposed to do: know our patients, answer the phone, and get medication where it needs to go — free.

Every decision at DDE is made in Rowland Heights, not by a regional director in another state. That's why we can pick up the phone on the second ring, run a coupon comparison for a family that can't afford a copay, or hand a bilingual pharmacist directly to a grandparent who prefers Cantonese. Independence isn't a marketing angle for us — it's the entire model.
Built around delivery
We started delivering prescriptions for free 25 years ago because we watched patients skip doses when the drive felt like too much. Today we deliver hundreds of prescriptions a week, same-day across the San Gabriel Valley and next-day statewide, and it's still free. Not a promo. Not a threshold. Just how the pharmacy works.
Patients, not customers
Our team keeps handwritten notes on the families we serve — birthdays, refill preferences, which cousin picks up prescriptions on Fridays. It sounds old-fashioned because it is, and it's what makes chain pharmacies feel like a phone tree in comparison.
